The first foldable smartphone, Motorola Razr (2019), designed by Lenovo owned company is heading towards India. Motorola has poked the India launch of the Razr (2019) through a tweet. Summoning back, the Motorola Razr (2019) was launched globally last month. With a flexible screen, this smartphone competes with Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
The tweet was posted by the Motorola India account which highlights that the Motorola Razr (2019) will launch in India “soon”. Although, it doesn’t provide any release date but the company has hosted a registration page on its Indian website where interested consumers can sign up to receive updates.

The thing that makes Motorola Razr (2019), a uniquely different package than any other smartphone such as Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X is its 6.2 inch flexible OLED HD+ (876×2142 pixels) display with 21:9 ratio that completely fold in half. The phone offers the secondary 2.7 inch (600×800 pixels) Quick View display, in that folded state. It has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, with 6GB of RAM. It has a 16 megapixel Rear Camera and Front Camera of 5 megapixels. It comes with a storage capacity of 128GB.
The Motorola Razr (2019) comes with a fingerprint sensor that is accessible in folded and unfolded both states. This smartphone carry no SIM card slot, but cellular networks via eSIM cards. There are other connectivity options too, like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0 and a USB Type-C port. Further, it comes with 2,510mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging as well as weighing 205 grams only.
Expected price in India: Inspite of the fact that Motorola hasn’t announced the Motorola Razr (2019) price details in India but it is expected to carry a price tag of roughly Rs. 1,06,000 ($1,499) which is remarkably lower than the price of Samsung Galaxy Fold.
