Motorola has postponed the release of its foldable smartphone
The opening dates for the Motorola Razr pre-orders and deliveries have been postponed by Lenovo. The manufacturer fails to meet demand.
The fans of the clamshell smartphone from the 2000s will have to wait a little longer. Announced at $1,500, the foldable clamshell smartphone should be available for pre-order at the end of this year to be delivered in early 2020. Different from Samsung which had delayed the release of the Galaxy Fold due to its screen, Motorola Razr is not the casualty of any technical problem. They simply cannot meet the demand that has run over its expectations. About 130 million copies sold between 2004 and 2008, the first Motorola Razr was one of the most popular mobiles of the 2000s. Its successor going on the same path it seems so.
